With a discreet gesture, Alain Jacob, rearranges his white mane while listening to his interlocutor. Like a true headhunter, the president of AJ Conseil Recrutement & RH is on the look-out. His objectives: discern the potential of the man or the woman that he interviews and identify both the expectations of the customers and of the candidates.
With a genuine acuteness to discern the right and the wrong as well as the things unmentioned, this passionate of tai chi has refined this natural asset throughout his career. At the head of major players in the world of hospitality and catering including Elior, the number 3 for contract catering and services, he has developed a profound taste for methodology and HR.
Result: this graduate of the Paris Hotel Management School, the Cnam and the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Paris created his recruitment consulting firm in 1993.
Since then Alain has quietly moved forward. He leveraged already at an early stage the added value of the social media to cultivate privileged relations with the executives of tomorrow and introduced a dedicated community manager. His specialist agency has today a pool of 65,000 candidates and around 950 customers. Alain, who has been awarded the Bronze Medal of Tourism, is a member of various professional associations, including the Board of Directors of Prom’Hôte.
